Serene Childhood

My art project focuses on pointillism, a technique used by neo-impressionist George Seurat to form huge compositions with tiny strokes of pure color. I chose to do a “seascape” of Maine because every year my family goes to Maine during the summer to spend quality time together. My family means absolutely everything to me; without them, I wouldn’t be here today. I believe one key aspect to becoming a strong artist is not only knowing what you are doing, but actually liking what you are creating. What I’m wondering is how many dots there are – I think there could be more than one hundred thousand!
