Stations of the Cross
First Previous Next Last

At the end of my junior year, I painted two canvases in acrylic, one of which depicted Jesus dying on the cross. When it came time to choose my art thesis, I had very few ideas. So, I opened the topic up for discussion at my art table and was given the idea of painting the Stations of the Cross because of my interest in the crucifixion. I painted the Stations of the Cross in the same manner as my earlier canvases, in acrylic. With inspiration from the colors and dream-like scenes of Marc Chagall’s work, I created a series of 15 9”x12” acrylic abstract canvases.
